Ultralight aircraft licence | UL

This national licence may entitle the holder to fly the following aircraft, among others:

Gyrocopter,
Gravity-controlled and aerodynamically controlled aircraft up to 600kg maximum take-off weight, for example a Comco Ikarus C42 or Remox GX

Gliding licence | SPL

This EASA and ICAO-compliant licence may entitle the holder to fly the following aircraft, among others:

Non-motorised gliders as well as touring motor gliders (TMG for short) - for example an ASK-21 - with a corresponding authorisation extension.

Light aircraft licence | LAPL-A

This EASA-compliant licence may entitle the holder to fly the following aircraft, among others:

Piston-powered single-engine aeroplanes under visual flight conditions up to a maximum take-off weight of 2,000 kg and 3 passengers - for example a Cessna 172 or Piper PA38

Private pilot licence | PPL-A

This EASA and ICAO-compliant licence may entitle the holder to fly the following aircraft, among others:

Piston-powered single-engine aircraft under visual and instrument flight conditions (with appropriate authorisation) up to a maximum take-off weight of 5,700 kg. In addition, non-complex high-performance aeroplanes are also possible - for example a TBM 930

Commercial pilot licence | CPL-A

This EASA and ICAO-compliant licence may entitle the holder to fly the following aircraft, among others.

Various aircraft similar to the PPL-A licence, but in a commercial environment - for example in charter flight operations

Airline Transport Pilot Licence | ATPL-A

This EASA and ICAO-compliant licence may entitle the holder to fly the following aircraft, among others.

Commercial aircraft in international passenger traffic - for example a Boeing 737 or an Airbus A320

Multi-Crew Licence | MPL

This EASA and ICAO-compliant licence may entitle the holder to fly the following aircraft, among others.

Commercial aircraft of an airline (analogue to ATPL), but always with at least a two-man crew
