Background: Conversion of 0900 numbers by the Federal Network Agency
The reason for the changes is the restructuring of chargeable 0900 numbers by the Federal Network Agency. This adjustment also affects the telephone numbers that pilots can use to contact the aviation weather advisory service. The changes were necessary in order to make the services more transparent and clearer.
From 1 December 2024, the previous telephone numbers of all DWD advice centres will change. The new structure: In future, the numbers will begin with 09005 instead of with 09001The rest of the number structure remains the same.

Standardised tariff of 1.99 euros per minute

Until now, the tariff has varied:
