The long break since the last event in 2019 was partly due to the pandemic. This makes the interest in celebrating the comeback with a <strong>modern, future-orientated concept<\/strong> to celebrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The focus is not only on classic topics such as aircraft technology, avionics and maintenance, but also on new trends in the areas of <strong>sustainable drives, digitalisation of aviation, training technologies and urban air mobility<\/strong>. The aim is to both <strong>Trade visitors as well as families interested in aviation, school groups and media representatives<\/strong> to address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First exhibitors - a mixture of tradition and innovation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final list of exhibitors is still being compiled, but some well-known participants have already been confirmed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Breezer Aircraft<\/strong> - known for its aluminium low-wing aircraft in the ultralight and LSA class<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CD Aircraft\/Cirrus<\/strong> - Supplier of complete aircraft and avionics solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dachsel aircraft engine repair<\/strong> - Specialised repairer of piston engines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FH Joanneum<\/strong> - one of the leading Austrian universities of applied sciences with aeronautical engineering degree programmes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Garmin<\/strong> - Global market leader for avionics and aircraft instrumentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>JMB Aircraft<\/strong> - Manufacturer of the JMB VL-3, a fast UL\/LSA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aircraft technology Zell am See<\/strong> - Regionally anchored aviation company<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salzburg Air Sports Association<\/strong> - Association for sport and leisure pilots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pioneer Aircraft<\/strong> - Known for sporty, Italian-designed piston aeroplanes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Piper Global Aviation \/ Piper Parts<\/strong> - Traditional brand from the USA with a strong commitment to Europe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Porsche<\/strong> - So far mainly active as a partner in hybrid drive concepts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trade fair management announces that it will continuously update the list, including <strong>Start-ups, research projects and university initiatives<\/strong> to be integrated in a targeted manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An ideal destination for aviation enthusiasts - even from the air<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Zell am See airfield (LOWZ)<\/strong> is one of the most beautiful Alpine airfields in Europe. At <strong>2470 feet altitude<\/strong> it offers a spectacular backdrop for such an event. The <strong>Asphalt track 07\/25<\/strong> measures <strong>660 m LDA<\/strong> (Landing Distance Available) and <strong>780 m TORA<\/strong> (Takeoff Run Available), with a maximum takeoff mass (MOTOW) of <strong>5.7 tonnes<\/strong>. Fuels on site: <strong>Jet A-1, Avgas 100LL and Super Plus (98 RON).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Important: Zell am See is a pure <strong>VFR pitch<\/strong>i.e. Take-offs and landings are only permitted in visual flight conditions. <strong>IFR cloud piercing procedure<\/strong> are available and are used regularly. <strong>Austro Control<\/strong> provides the approach sheets for VFR and IFR free of charge. Visitors by aeroplane should arrive in good time <strong>Reserve slots<\/strong>as the site is likely to be heavily frequented during the Air Expo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programme and highlights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The supporting programme is still being finalised, but the following items are already planned:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Specialist lectures<\/strong> and panels on topics such as \"Electric Flying\", \"Avionics of the Future\" and \"Pilot Training 2030\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aircraft inspections<\/strong> and presentations on the apron<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Simulator stations<\/strong> for students and beginners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Counselling options for LAPL, PPL and ATPL training<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Aviation Career Forum<\/strong> for students and young professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flight offers<\/strong> for guests in ULs and motorised aircraft<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Family friendliness is also a top priority - with <strong>Catering, children's activities and moderated demonstrations<\/strong> for all age groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Significance for the GA scene in Europe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The return of Air Expo Zell am See is not just a regional event. It is exemplary for the <strong>Renaissance of classic aviation events<\/strong>which are once again gaining in importance following the pandemic and economic uncertainty.
