The vertical boundary extends from the floor surface (GND) up to <strong>FL100<\/strong> (about 10,000 feet).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Exceptions<\/strong>The <strong>Airspace D<\/strong> (control zone) L\u00fcbeck-Blankensee and the already existing area with flight restrictions \"ED-R Schwerin\" are excluded from the RMZ\/TMZ.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Temporal effectiveness<\/strong>:<ol start=\"02\"><li>October 2024: 08:00 to 22:00 UTC<\/li><\/ol><ol start=\"03\"><li>October 2024: 07:00 to 22:00 UTC<\/li><\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>October 2024: 07:00 to 16:00 UTC<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. \"RMZ\/TMZ Schloss Bothmer\"<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The area <strong>RMZ\/TMZ Bothmer Castle<\/strong> extends over a <strong>Circle with a radius of 12 NM<\/strong> around the point <strong>53\u00b057'32\" N, 011\u00b009'34\" O<\/strong>. Here too, the vertical limit ranges from GND to FL100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Exceptions<\/strong>The area with flight restrictions \"ED-R Schloss Bothmer\" is excluded from this regulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Temporal effectiveness<\/strong>:\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>October 2024: 14:30 to 22:00 UTC<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. adjustments to the regulations<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Changes, such as a shortening of the temporal effectiveness or a reduction in the vertical limitation of the RMZ\/TMZ, are recognised by the <strong>Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Police<\/strong> and announced by the <strong>DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH<\/strong> per <strong>NOTAM<\/strong> published. Information on the current status of the RMZ\/TMZ can be obtained via the <strong>Frequencies 132.650 MHz<\/strong> or <strong>125.100 MHz<\/strong> (Langen Flight Information Service).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. regulations for flights within the RMZ\/TMZ<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All aircraft travelling to <strong>Visual flight rules (VFR)<\/strong> within the described RMZ\/TMZ must comply with the <strong>SSR code A6377<\/strong> transmit unsolicited and on the frequency <strong>135.600 MHz (callsign \"Police Info\")<\/strong> Keep ready to listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before entering the RMZ\/TMZ, a <strong>Initial notification<\/strong> which must contain the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ID of the called station<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Call sign and aircraft type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Location, altitude and flight intentions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Permanent hearing readiness must be maintained during the flight in the RMZ\/TMZ. The <strong>Excursion<\/strong> from the area must also be reported. If there is no reply from the ground radio station, it is still permitted to continue the flight as long as the radio readiness is maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Exceptions<\/strong> from the transponder obligation apply to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Police flights<\/strong> or on behalf of the police<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rescue and disaster control operations<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ambulance flights<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flights from <strong>Model aircraft and unmanned aerial systems<\/strong> up to a height of 120 metres above ground<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If necessary, the <strong>Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Police<\/strong> authorise further exemptions from the transponder requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Flights to <strong>Instrument flight rules (IFR)<\/strong> are not affected by these regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The temporary establishment of <strong>Mandatory radio communication and transponder zones (RMZ\/TMZ)<\/strong> around Schwerin and Bothmer Castle will ensure the protection of airspace during the 2024 German Unity Day celebrations.
