The aircraft was destroyed, the pilot slightly injured and the passenger seriously injured. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before the flight, it was discovered that the fuel cock was closed, but should have been opened before take-off. The engine was started after several attempts and the primer was activated again. During the approach to a field, the aircraft lost altitude and crashed into the ground. During the recovery and investigation, the fuel cock was found to be closed and only a small amount of fuel was found in the fuel bowl.
